Craft premium coffee blends online shop and help wildlife conservation
2 min readThe smell of coffee in the morning, is there anything even slightly better ? There are many of tea types, some are bad, some are good but some manually selected tea leaves and coffee beans are just amazing. We encourage creativity and innovation by supporting farmers in coffee flavour enhancement. If farmers can produce honeyed and natural coffees, micro lots and stand out single varietals then they can add value to the cup and their prices. Some of our coffees are pre-financed by organisations such as Root Capital and ResponseAbility. This enables farmers to access funds for farm inputs and labour prior to the harvest when their costs are at their highest.
Our tea pick today : Green Tea: This traditional Chinese tea is made from leaves that aren’t oxidized as long as black tea leaves, producing flavors that range from earthy to toasty to seaweedy. Expect the color to be … well, green! Though sometimes it could look yellow-ish. Reported Benefits: There’s a bunch: increased metabolism, lower cholesterol, and possibly decreased risk of heart failure. Caffeine? Yes, roughly about half of a cup of coffee. Eco friendly coffee advice of the day : Brew Manually: Manual coffee brewers stand in defiance against another one of the great challenges to eco-friendly coffee: auto drip coffee makers. If you take a stroll to your neighborhood supermarket and look at the coffeemakers, you’ll realize a couple things. Firstly, they are cheaply priced. Secondly, they are cheaply made. These coffee pots are plastic-guzzlers that are built to break, requiring the manufacturing of more and more of them. It’s an endless cycle of wasteful manufacturing. Manual coffee brewers, on the other hand, are simply constructed and built to last. They are made of few parts (often just one), rarely require replacing, and can serve you for decades. Manual coffee brewing is amazing in a variety of ways, but their eco-friendly properties are one of the chief advantages (especially if they use a metal filter).
We carefully vet and select our coffee and tea based on quality, taste, aroma and whether or not it was ethically sourced. We always use ethically sourced products which help farmers around the world. All our products are tested, blended and packaged personally in our home kitchen. But that’s enough about us, we look forwards to doing business with you, we hope you will begin to look to us for all your tea and coffee needs. Source: https://lynchsbrew.co.uk/.
You may have noticed that our mascot is a lemur, this is simply due to a love the Lynch family has always shared for the animal! A percentage of every single sale we make gets donated to Lemur Love, a NPO which focuses on lemur conservation. Help us conserve today and enjoy our delicious tea and coffee at the same time!
