Villa rentals and Why visit Ibiza?

2 min read

Do you want to enjoy a blue sky on a perfect beach ? Ibiza is a fabulous place to relax. What can you see in Ibiza? Atzaro Spa: Ibiza is almost as well-known for its holistic spa and relaxation scene as it is for electronic music and nightclubs. There are 15 spas across the island, many attached to hotels and apartment complexes, and others that are clubs that open their doors to visitors as well as members. Atzaro Spa for example belongs to a serene agritourism complex surrounded by the citrus and olive groves of the Ibizan countryside. The choice of treatments and activities at this place alone is staggering: You could work out in the state-of-the-art gym, take a yoga class, float along in the 43-metre pool or pamper yourself with anything from peels, facials, manipedis and a variety of massages.

Santa Eulalia del Rio is a major resort on Ibiza, and it is located on the island’s eastern coast. It’s only a short drive from the main airport on Ibiza, and it is the spot for those who want culture and cuisine in addition to beaches and scenery. One of the main draws to Santa Eulalia del Rio is the long promenade that runs along the coast. Lined with palm trees, the promenade lets you walk next to the water and admire beach views for miles. The shopping and culinary options take precedence over nightlife at this coastal destination.

Located on the West of the island, Cala Comte has a small beach with sun loungers as well as a rocky coastline with plenty of carved flat platforms to base yourselves on for the day – perfect for anyone who loves the sea but hates the sand. The water is shallow too which makes it a great spot to bring kids. Spend all day in the water until sunset, then head up to one of the three restaurants on top of the cliffs to enjoy the wide-lens views of the sun dropping behind the horizon.

Did you know that Ibiza is home to multiple UNESCO World Heritage sights?? One of them being Ibiza Old Town (Dalt Vila)! Drag yourself away from the beach and explore it. Old Town is filled with cobblestone streets, castles, 14th-century cathedrals, stone statues, canons, and Gothic architecture. Put the phone away and take a walk through town. You’ll find tons of hidden gems and narrow alleyways filled with cute restaurants and shops. Plus, you’ll learn a lot about Ibiza’s ancient history (it’s way more than a party island!). Word to the wise: don’t wear sandals while exploring Old Town. Those cobblestone streets are gnarly! Read extra details on https://discoveribiza.com/.
