Before establishing NurseShifts, in Atlanta and companion company, StaffHealth, William Goldstein had success with other medical staffing companies. He served as CEO of PhysicianJobs.com.William formed Nationwide Medical Services in Norfolk, VA in 1992. This company would quickly grow faster than any other other company in the medical staffing industry. Nationwide’s earnings grew in excess of three hundred percent per year in each of its first six years of operations. This growth permitted Nationwide to add additional offices in more locations. In 1997, Nationwide merged with Jackson & Coker, the most famous name in the industry to form J&C Nationwide. Will Goldstein remained CEO, until its sale in 2004. During that time, over 165,000 physicians and medical providers used J&C Nationwide for its services.
Will Goldstein would also lead other healthcare industry companies, such as MedCAREERS.com, once the Internet\’s most comprehensive, site devoted exclusively to providing staffing and career solutions for healthcare professionals.This website, would operate as a job board for WebMD and launched the Internet’s largest database of healthcare-related job opportunities and resumes.
William A. Goldstein graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He is an investor that has been part of the development of many businesses.William Goldstein began his successful career as an entrepreneur in 1987when he acquired a locksmith and security store with a location in Norfolk, Virginia. He grew that business to four locations and in excess of 20 mobile units, before selling the firm, in 1992. Ever since, he has been involved in healthcare staffing and technology companies. His newest enterprises, StaffHealth.com and NurseShifts.com are again paving the way for the healthcare staffing business.
