Let’s talk about top quality travel blogs
3 min readLet’s talk about the best travel blogs in 2019. World is flooded with travel blogs so bloggers are forced to become more and more professional, comprehensive, posts get bigger and bigger, filled with more and more information, pictures and other travel things. Here are several travel blogs that i like reading.
Notes From The Road, By road, by kayak, by seaplane and most of all on foot, Erik Gauger tackles the themes of city and country in the modern world. Erik shares “the messy truth of travel, told by a regular guy.” His photography and writing are some of the best I’ve seen online from an independent travel blog. You’ll get lost for hours reading his stories from around the world. While Out Riding, Cass began his travel blog by charting an epic bicycle journey from Prudoe Bay, Alaska down to South America. It was his way of recording this extended journey for friends and family, and a chance to process everything he was seeing and experiencing. The journey came to a close in 2014, but Cass still lives car-free and has been cycling in Mongolia and the Republic of Georgia.
Time Travel Turtle: Michael Turtle gave up his career in media in Australia to visit every UNESCO site in the world. Follow his quest and make a list of your own. Emily Luxton Travels: Emily champions solo female adventure travel, with a particular focus on slower, more meaningful travel, rather than a ‘ticking-off’ approach.
David Hoffman is a travel host who is passionate about meeting new people, going new places, and experiencing new cultures. His digital media company, David’s Been Here, delivers travel inspiration and advice to readers, features episodes documenting his travels across six continents, and shares information about travel and lifestyle brands. A public relations pro turned award-winning travel and food blogger, Carol Cain is the woman behind Girl Gone Travel. Carol provides inspiration for friends, families, and lovers who want to travel, eat, and live life to the fullest. Because she wants to inspire everyone to hit the road and see all the world has to offer, Carol provides quick links to adventures, family adventures, girlfriend getaways, good eats and wine, hotels, local fun, and national parks on Girl Gone Travel.
Cookiesound is probably one of the most badass mother-daughter travel duos in the travel blog industry. The travel blog is run by Nisa and Ulli Maier, a mother-daughter travel photography team who travel to off-the-beaten-path places while sharing exciting travel stories through writing and travel photography in a real, honest and sometimes sarcastic way. Their journey began with a twelve-month-long road trip on a 4×4 through Africa. If that doesn’t make you want to hear their stories, I don’t know what would.
Finally a blog that i like reading, one of my favourite travel blogs, is TforTraveller , a travel blog with very good travel posts. The content i like the most are the 72 hours guides, they are perfect for maximizing your fun in a short weekend break. T for Traveller aims to build a community of like-minded people who think traveling and to expand your boundaries are important There ’s nothing quite like landing in another culture to give you a fresh perspective and make you evaluate what s really important in life.
