Top quality toner cartridges
3 min readHere are some advices on how to decrease the price of your printing operations. Exercise caution while replacing your cartridges. It is likely that you will be replacing cartridges regularly so you must read the instructions carefully and master the art of replacing cartridges. Be careful not to touch the bottom of the cartridge while replacing it, as touching can spoil the quality of print. Make sure you buy high quality cartridges that are not so delicate to handle. Don’t wait till your cartridges run dry completely. Printer software provides notifications when cartridge levels fall below normal. Take the cue and replace your cartridge before they run out of ink. A dry cartridge leads to unwanted wear and tear on your printer head.
If you’re willing to spend a little money to extend the life of your printer, you can order a maintenance kit from your printer’s manufacturer when the original parts begin to show signs of wear. These kits may include a range of maintenance products from cleaning supplies to changeable printer parts such as rollers, which, when dirty or worn out, are a common culprit in printer jams. Of course, no printer is perfect – there will be occasional jams, smudges and errors. But with a little bit of easy printer maintenance, it is possible to greatly reduce the occurrence of these problems and streamline your printing experience. Take a glance at our reviews of the top all-in-one printers and find the one that best suits your needs so you can put these tips into practice and enjoy happy, stress-free printing.
Have you ever printed something from the web only to find that it didn’t fit the page? What a waste of ink, paper, and time. Fortunately, this is one problem that can be avoided: Just hit “print preview” before you send anything to print, and you’ll be able to catch and correct any issues before they make it onto paper. Has your cartridge stopped printing properly? Before you toss it, make sure a clogged nozzle isn’t the culprit. To do so, simply remove the cartridge from the printer and wipe the bottom with a damp paper towel. Then reinstall it and try printing again. If you have been buying lot of office equipment and printer accessories, you may have noticed that inkjet printer cartridges cost you a good deal of money.
Proper care starts the moment you bring home a new cartridge. Before you install the cartridge, be sure to inspect it. Gently shake the cartridge or tap it on a hard surface a couple times to prime the ink. On the top of most cartridges, you’ll find a piece of plastic tape that covers the vent hole and a plastic clip that is protecting the cartridge while in transit. Not every cartridge will have a clip or tape, but if they do it’s important to remove them before you try installing your ink. We recommend doing this over a trashcan as ink can sometimes escape from the cartridge when you remove the tape. On the side of the cartridge, you might notice a gold contact chip. This chip is very sensitive, as it is the electric component that communicates with the printer once it is installed. If you do accidentally touch it with your finger or notice a bit of dust, gently wipe it clean with a Q-tip or lint-free cloth.
