Sports photographer Toronto gives several suggestions

3 min read

Corporate events high quality photographer in Toronto gives several tricks to have the perfect photos from a very important event of your life. Unlike an album or a highlight gallery, a full gallery will give you a better sense of your photographer’s style, as well as his or her attention to detail. Make sure these are from weddings they’ve shot in the past few months so they’re an accurate representation.

Don’t base your decision solely on what you see in a photographer’s highlights gallery or album. For good reason, photographers show prospective clients a portfolio of their best pictures, all from different weddings, so you’re seeing the best of the best. The problem with that is you won’t get a well-rounded idea of their work. Ask to see two or three full galleries from real weddings they’ve shot (not someone else at their company) so you can get a better idea of what your complete collection of photos might look like after the wedding. If you see that the full gallery photos are just about as good as the ones chosen in the highlight gallery (that is, they’re all so good it’s impossible to choose!), you’re on the right track. And ask to see at least one or two complete albums of weddings that are in similar settings to yours. For example, if you’re planning an indoor affair with dark lighting, don’t just look at weddings shot outdoors in natural sunlight. And if you’re planning to say “I do” on a beach at sunset, you’ll want to see examples of that.

Event photography tip : Know before the event how you plan on using the photos. To get the most value possible, let the photographer know where you plan on using these images: on your event page? In a Flickr gallery? In social media posts? A banner ad or physical posters? “It’s tempting to say you’ll use them anywhere, so consider where you get the most value out of photos now,” says Braund. “If it’s Instagram first and foremost, I’ll know to shoot wider so they can crop in. If it’s for long narrow posters or web banners, that’s more restrictive so I’ll compose accordingly.” If you host a repeat event like a class or training, you’ll want to keep that in mind when you request shots. If shots from one event will be used for marketing year-round, be sure to avoid any seasonal details in your corporate event photography.

Capture a variety of candid photographs: The best moments of any event are the candid ones. Look around the room and watch people interact, wait for the right moment. I always find that it can be good to pretend you are looking around the room while honing in on a good shot so that people aren’t made aware of the fact that they about to be photographed, which often ruins the moment. I’ll get myself in position and the second the moment happens I’ll aim my camera and take the shot.

We also offer a unique digital make-over service for events using a very special PC with professional retouching software. Photographs from your event are emailed to you after being professionally shot then post-produced & edited to ensure the highest quality photos with the quickest turnaround time! This will capture your event instantly in pictures and words—and you won’t even have to wait weeks to get your photographs returned from your photographer. I can’t ever recommend these guys enough. Their photographer was able to take a last minute session basically right before my wedding. Incredible service! See extra details on Event Photographer Toronto.
